Right, true and beneficial
Research against social exclusion
Research, development and innovation at the Diaconia University of Applied Sciences, Diak, (www.diak.fi) consist of two different functions. The service teams in the units provide training and development services to benefit working life directly. The three research programmes at Diak focus, in more general terms through the means of research, on developing the work required of the church, social welfare and health services and various organisations as they combat social exclusion, and on the connection of these parties to everyday life.
The three principles of research and development at Diak are: morally right, scientifically true and beneficial to society.
The keynote speaker Professor, Research Director Sidsel Sverdrup from Norwegian Diaconhjemmet University College describes the experiences on the evaluation of Norwegian mental services.
Seminar is organized by Diak. Further information about the seminar later on these sites.
